About our Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapist
Welcome to Alternate Therapeutics, my name is Carlo Niceforo. As a summary, I had the opportunity to hold various degrees in different fields. I worked and strived in all, which made my life vastly conversant. As I continued on my future path, I grew an immense passion and respect for the field of Chinese Medicine, where I developed a strong knowledge and appreciation for this ancient art and its fundamental role it plays in today’s health industry.
My tertiary studies commenced at James Cook University, where I was accepted in the field of Engineering in Townsville Queensland. I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (1998) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 2001.
I was fortunate enough to have procured a position with a reputable consulting engineering firm (internationally), in NSW in 2001. I worked in their structural assets department, where a gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of engineering.
By the beginning of 2003, I followed my heart into the field of Chinese Medicine and graduated in 2007, with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Traditional Chinese Medicine) from the University of Western Sydney, New South Wales.
I also obtained a Diploma of Reflexology from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies (ACNT) Surry Hills Sydney, and a Diploma of Tuina massage from the Sydney Institute of Chinese Medicine. I joined the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association in 2007 and the Chinese Medical Board of Australia in 2013.
Chinese Medicine is an extraordinary challenge with remarkable satisfactions. It’s history descended through intermediate family generations, containing many hidden treasures for discovery. My aim is to maximise this medicine to the best of my ability, enabling superior therapeutic efficacy to all my patients.

Welcome to Alternate Therapeutics, my name is Alyse Di Pasquale and I am qualified Beauty, Laser and Paramedical Skin Therapist.
In 2006, I graduated from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies(ACNT), Surry Hills Sydney, where I graduated with an advanced diploma in Beauty and Spa. From ACNT, I also graduated with an International CIDESCO Diploma, recognising my beauty training throughout Australasia and Europe. I also hold a Paramedical Certificate, which allows me to work under various cosmetic and plastic surgeries for pre and post-operative skin care. I also hold a government accredited laser licence, enabling me to use lasers safely for cosmetic purposes.
From a very young age, I have always had a very kind and caring nature towards people and always enjoyed making people feel good about themselves in a genuine way.
My passion, experience and knowledge, has been very helpful to many people over the years, where I was able to treat and recommend appropriate treatments to clients.
I am a very passionate and keen freelance makeup artist, who enjoys the fun and glamour of the makeup artistry world. I absolutely love working with clients to make them look and feel their best, for any special occasion.
Over the 10 years of working in the Beauty and Skin Rejuvenation industry, my passion has still not diminished and continues to grow. My main objective is to utilise all of my passion and knowledge to the best of my ability, providing all of my clients with wonderful treatment options, with outstanding results.

An avid traveller and a nurse for more than 30 years, Marg has worked all over the world in many exotic and exciting locations.
It was in 1999 that she was introduced to the Injectables and Cosmetic field and it didn’t take long for her to see the significant and positive effect it can have on people’s lives.
Seeking a Sea Change, Marg moved form Melbourne to Cairns in 2013, but travels to Melbourne regularly to treat her loyal clients – until COVID of course. Marg also has mobile clinics in the Atherton Tablelands that she visits once a month.
Marg enjoys helping her clients be confident and happy, inside and out.
